This Canada Day, enjoy Refrigerator Perry showing you around an ‘86 Parisienne.

You’re lookin’ at the Fridge,
I’m the rookie.
I may be large, but I’m no dumb cookie.
You’ve seen me hit, you’ve seen me run,
When I get the pass, we’ll have more fun.
I can dance, you will see
The others, they all learn from me.
I don’t come here lookin’ for trouble,
I just came here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.

This is one athlete endorsement I can actually believe, The Refrigerator should actually be able to fit inside a Parisienne and be comfortable. However, I’d expect the Cadillac Brougham would be more his style, though the big Pontiac was still fairly luxurious.

Yeah it was just as nice inside and out
as most Cadillacs at the time, the Refrigerator was smart and pocketed the difference.

We had a Caprice Classic Brougham when I was a kid, I still remember how ridiculously comfortable that car was, the seats were like sitting on big , fluffy clouds and it just wafted over potholes like they weren’t even there. The cloth interior was so soft and cushy, leather was like a downgrade.
I later owned a Fleetwood myself, which is still the most comfortable car I have ever driven, whatever flavor you bought, the B-body was really a fantastic ride.

Yeah don’t get me wrong the Fleetwoods were nice, but they were nearly double the price. If you could live without the badge the Caprice Brougham or the Parisienne were a steal.

They were arguably better looking, too, purer example of Bill Mitchell’s Sheer Look.

I always thought the 77-79 Fleetwoods looked more Cadillac than the squarer 1980 on design, so I’m gonna agree with you there.
